I’ve never played this instrument, the bow is wrapped around the string of the instument which can be adjusted with the knobs on top. On each side of the bow there are strings, so you push the bow using one side, and on the backstroke you use another side. Can’t really see it well from this picture-but it’s a neat instrument. Sounds so foreign than what I’m used to…
