Dennis’ Birthday Weekend in Reno
On Thursday, Dennis & I flew to Reno for the weekend. Dennis wanted to spend his 40th birthday with his family. We managed to surprise his Mom & Dad, by planning a party for Dennis in Reno. Joel & Sherry (Dennis’ brother & sister) were there, as well as Sherry’s kids Nick, Marc, Lucas, and Alexis and their Dad.
The birthday evening went well-we talked late into the night. We picked up KFC and had a cake (thanks to Sherry!). It was a nice birthday. Dennis was surprised happily that Joe came-we were not sure he would be able to come.
Of course, we took lots of pictures-and we all got caught up. It had been a couple years since Dennis, Joe, and Sherry had been together-and so it was a special evening.
The next day, we spent the day visiting. My Nephews Nick & Marc helped me get gear on, and then ride a very large quad. Alexis joined me a couple times for a ride around the property. I must admit it was a little fun going over the jumps, and I felt like I was going really fast-but I never got airborne.
