We were going to go mountain biking for Dennis’ Birthday, but instead we ended up at Chatauqua Park at the base of the flatirons. With a stormfront moving in quickly, we’re happy we changed plans. We ended up getting caught in a torrential downpour, but at least we were relatively close to the cars. After the hike; Dennis, Dan, and I went for some hot coffee and watched the hail & rain onslaught outside.
Later that evening, Dennis & I went to a Hockey game. We saw the Avalanche lose to the Flames, for the second year in a row. It was disappointing, but the Avs played a lot better than last year. They had an opportunity to tie the game up at the end, but it just didn’t work out. Still, it was a close game and enjoyable.
