Yes, that’s right! Ridgecrest Ultimate suffers yet another setback as regular, Adam-the-good-spirited leaves for DC. We get together one last time for some games, and revelry over at George’s.
Dennis put together a PVC stand with a square. It cost approximately 6 bucks at Home Depot, yet provided hours of fun for all. We played Horse, just like in Basketball, but with the disc. I’m happy to say I was one of the first people “out”. Of course, Dennis won!
After the individual games, we constructed teams, and played a Horse variation in which every member of the team had to touch the disc before it flew it’s final flight through the square. That was a lot more fun, with teams coming up with quite challenging set-ups with their discs…again, my team ended up losing. But, it was all a ton of fun!
Later, we BBQ’d at George’s house. What a gracious host, providing potato & onion dish along with some freshly grilled asparagus. We brought over the turkey & chicken, and Adam & Carrie brought the carrot cake. Yumm-O!
We’re sad to see him go…Adam was a fun addition to Ridgecrest Ultimate scene. So Adam, good luck in DC, and we hope you’ll remember your humble buddies from the desert!
