Ridgecrest Kids on Halloween

Dennis put the decorations up this year, and he even dressed in his fat Elvis costume for the Great Candy Giveaway. While he was busy with the kids, I was busy making dinner. My strategy is to feed myself first, and then the kids! Even though we were eating real food, it didn’t stop us from forraging on the candy we were handing out.

Last year, we handed out over 7 pounds of really good chocolate. It disappeared in approximately 2 hours. So, this year, we bought 8 pounds and it was gone by 9:30pm. We saw lots of good costumes. Dennis took this picture; these boys scored double handfuls on account of their good spirit and costumes!

Cute picture. We don’t get any Trick-or-Treaters out here in China Lake Acres. I think the dogs eat ’em. 😉

One year when we lived on base I dressed up as the Evil Emperor from Star Wars and sat out front on a bale of straw. Scared lots of little kids. (LOL) 😀
