Snow Mountain Ranch makes me smile!
Dennis at Winter Park
I dropped Dennis off at Winter Park resort and then I went Cross Country skiing at YMCA of the Rockies, Snow Mountain Ranch. It was a fantastic day for skiing. I used mostly green wax with a tiny bit of blue extra.
I headed out on Pole Creek Trail until I got to Keenan. My plan was to ski up Keenan and down Cranmer. I really love this loop; going down Cranmer is a blast!

From there, I skied to the overlook and enjoyed the view.

All in all, I skied for about 3 hours and covered around 7 miles. I kept my heart rate up the whole time, in accordance to the training program for my Ultra. It was nice to mix up the training with a cross country ski and give the knees a break.
