Maybe it was the jetlag, maybe it was the formulaic way they produced this flick that drove me to slumber. I can’t believe I fell asleep watching this movie when so much of it involved beat em up, blow it up, stunt type effects! I enjoyed the historical nature of the movie, finding out the past of Batman-but it was just so flat.
It was like flat champaigne. There was a lingering flavor that was enjoyable however, it was lacking pizazz and intrigue. I’m a huge fan of Michael Keaton as Batman, everybody else just doesn’t do it for me. I was disappointed in the end-even though Michael Caene and Gary Oldman and Morgan Freedman brought their talents to the film. A bad script and an unconvincing batman just ruined it for me.
Nah, this was just a bad movie. A ridiculous plot, and they relieved much too heavily on the special effects.
The fight scenes and car-chase scenes went on much, much too long.
The talented supporting cast of Morgan Freeman, Liam Neesan, Rutger Haur, Michael Caine, and Gary Oldman were the only thing that made this movie bearable.
