Before I say anything else, a big thanks to cyberhobo (check out his blog!) for helping me set this up. I’ve been reading his blog for a couple years now, and it is a basis for my inspiration.
The priorities in my life are my husband & family, climbing, and then work. In order to support my lifestyle, I have committed myself to a plastic & metal framed cubicle with nary a hint of natural daylight 40 hours a week. I’m not complaining, it’s just the facts.
I recently made the jump from technical science & engineering based research to the fascinating and ever-changing world of medical claims & budgetary funds trendwork. Instead of physicists, chemists, and electrical engineers…my new clients are Lawyers, CPAs, and MBAs. It’s exciting work, regardless.
The weekends are a way to express the joy I feel when I’m outside. I truly treasure the free time I have; the vast majority of the entries here will be about those 2 or 3 jewels of the week.
