Wow, we made our last connecting flight out of Seoul. Relief and joy when we finally touched down in Japan. It was wonderful to finally be there. We made it to the Sakura Ryokan with ease. (more…)

Tokyo (May 7-8)
Monday, May 8th, 2006A small delay in LA…
Saturday, May 6th, 2006caused us to miss our flight in San Fran. So we waited 8 hours in the airport until the next flight to Japan (1AM on Saturday morning). The upside is that we got a chance to eat some Quesadillas at a little Mexican joint in the airport…to celebrate Cinco De Mayo just before it was over!

Ohayo, It’s Cinco De Mayo!

This year I’m celebrating Cinco De Mayo by getting on a plane and going to Japan. My hubby and I leave in about 11 hours, and I’m getting very excited. I’m trying to stay up as long as I can, so I sleep for part of the time on the plane! (more…)
