I dropped the guys off at Copper Mountain and then went to Frisco Nordic Center. I went to Butterhorn Bakery for breakfast. Then, I traipsed all over the trails at Frisco, enjoying the fresh powder for the next 4 hours. Got a call from Dennis at 2:30pm, then I headed back to pick them up. The CMC offers an Avalanche Awareness class, many times over the course of a winter. As I’m fond of snowshoe hiking and cross country, I thought it would be a good idea to partake. So, I joined about 30 CMC members for an all day session near Rogers Pass, CO. I carpoolled with Robert, who was nice enough to drive his Jeep piled full of people & gear to the Trail Head.

Kat & I had a very fun day at Snow Mountain Ranch. We climbed a lot of hills and even went down some
